Petition Summary

The petitioner explains that after Brexit the City of London will stay away from the influence of the EU competitiveness on the global financial market. The petitioner suggests to move headquarters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) from London to Paris after Brexit in order to improve the role of Paris, as a leading European Union finance centre, on the global financial market. In view of the petitioner such move might be legitimate due to the fact that the EU member states constitute a majority of the shareholders of the EBRD. The move will also give the possibility to give big number of jobs in the EBRD for the EU citizens living, working and paying their taxes in the EU.
