Petition Summary

The petitioner believes that the UK electorate was misled by politicians and the media about the issues and the consequences of such a decision, and therefore there is no sufficient mandate for the UK government to invoke Article 50. Almost all UK citizens under the age of 18 have always been EU citizens, and have had no say in the decision to remove their EU citizenship. The process of invoking Article 50 is untested and has no precedent, consequently there should also be a mechanism to allow for UK citizens to remain EU citizens.
